About The Blah Party
The old website (blahparty.org) was maintained by
Propaganda - a PR company in Leeds. In their infinite
wisdom Propaganda took the site down without letting
anyone know. However the official Blah Party website
theblahparty.co.uk had been bought earlier and the
majority of the news information from the old website was
transferred to the new site.
The move by Propaganda had severed all links with the
Blah Party who are now totally independent of them or
Seabrook Crisps.
The Blah Party believes in the right to opinion, the right to
question the right to disapprove, the right to change things
for the better, and fundamentally the right to BLAH!
The Blah Party is a UK based protest group which was
formerly a minor political party, mainly designed at
attracting protest votes. The Blah party was founded
2006 by SAS Fahd Hamid. In 2007 control of the party
was handed over to Captain Sensible and Monster
Raving Loony party deputy leader Melodie Staniforth.
The Blah Party was mainly fashioned on the principles
of direct democracy - anyone could post suggestions
for the party on the website and they would be voted
on by the membership. At the begining of 2009 the
party re-focussed itself as a protest group.
The Blah Party started in 2006 at a conference in
Manchester - coinciding with the Labour party
conference the party had around 8000 member in
2008 and by 2010 membership had reached the
300 thousand mark.
